ABOUT US.
The Mannu Kala Foundation
was established to formalise a belief long held by its founder: that education, when funded with intent and accountability, creates the greatest long-term social and community impact.
Born from lived experience and professional leadership in healthcare, the Foundation was created to move beyond one-off giving and instead invest in structured pathways that change lives over generations. Every initiative is shaped by discipline, responsibility and the belief that opportunity should be available to all.
Our Founder
Mannu Kala
is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and community leader whose journey from Kashmir to the Gold Coast is grounded in resilience, education and service.
As Co-Founder of KnG Healthcare, Mannu played a pivotal role in expanding critical healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting hospitals, aged care and community services across Australia. His leadership has created employment opportunities, strengthened healthcare delivery and contributed to national emergency responses.
Mannu holds multiple master’s degrees and maintains strong academic and community ties, including his ongoing involvement with Griffith University, where the Foundation’s flagship medical scholarship program is delivered.
His philanthropic philosophy is simple but uncompromising: education must be funded with purpose, discipline and accountability.
