Background
The Donor is the Mannu Kala Foundation, established in 2025 by Mannu Kala, himself a Griffith international alumnus. The mission of the Mannu Kala Foundation is to invest in potential and one of the Foundation’s specific objectives is supporting scholarships to increase access to quality education. This scholarship reflects the Foundation’s intention to support the wider community by championing top medical talent choosing to pursue a career in healthcare.
The Mannu Kala Foundation partners with Griffith University to deliver structured, merit-based and need-based scholarships.

Application rounds and eligibility criteria are published annually through the Foundation and partner institutions.
